We celebrated our special day with 40 children and it was the most wonderful party ever! We had a ball and the children had the time of their lives. We started with candy, chips and frooti and the kids enjoyed the snacks while we put up decorations.
There were balloons, streamers, party hats, and party poppers!
Then came the cake- it was a big 1 kg cake so there was enough for everyone. Candles were lit and blown, the party poppers sprinkled confetti, and all the kids burst into a chorus of “Happy Birthday”, as the cake was cut and everyone cheered and clapped and laughed with giddy excitement.
Once the children had enjoyed their cake we handed out the packed meals. Each thali had matar paneer, matar pulao, and two gulab jamuns!
There was so much happy chattering and then the children were quiet as they dug into their delicious meal- opening each container with joy.
